I walked through the valley, I walked past the mountain,
Was there that you found me, and you found me counting,
The days that I had left, that I had left to live,
And then, for me you wept, you sorrow did you give to me.

We walked back together, back to that grand old town.
With it's sunny weather, we knew everyone around.
We went to the beaches, where we shared our first true kiss.
I guess that it teaches, love's way too strong to resist.

I walk, you walk,
Just where are we walking to?
I talk, you talk,
Just who are we talking to?
I give, you give,
Just why are we giving for?
I live, you live,
Just what are we living for?

I walk past my home, where I gained my first wisdom.
I don't walk alone, your presence is deep within.
I walk past my school, where I learned what I know now.
I'm nobody's fool. I know why and where and how.

But do I know
The truest truth?
The thing called love
That comes from you.
And can I see
Where light meets dark?
If when I look,
we're far apart?
I think I can, I think you can

I walk, you walk,
Just where are we walking to?
I talk, you talk,
Just who are we talking to?
I give, you give,
Just why are we giving for?
I live, you live,
Just what are we living for?
Ourselves... ourselves alone... in each other.... we find home.
